This Privacy Policy applies to the "LocalHub" application (hereinafter referred to as "the App") developed by independent developer Baron Lee. We value your privacy, and this policy aims to explain how we collect, use, and protect your information.

English Version

1. Core Commitment: Local First

LocalHub is a tool for sharing files and media over a local network. Unless you actively choose to do so (e.g., sharing a link with others), your files, photos, videos, and other personal data are stored only on your local device and will never be uploaded to any cloud servers by us.

2. Information We Collect and How We Use It

To provide our services, we may process the following information:

• Device and Network Information (IP Address): We access your device's IP address to establish a local HTTP server. This IP address is processed locally on your device and may be visible to other devices on your local network that you share content with. We do not upload your IP address to our cloud servers. It is strictly used for local connection management.
• App Usage and Performance Data (Optional): With your explicit consent, we use Firebase Analytics and Crashlytics to collect anonymous usage statistics and crash reports. This helps us improve stability and user experience. You can opt-out of this collection at any time in the App Settings.
• Transaction Information: If you purchase premium services, transactions are processed by Google Play. We only receive transaction receipts (e.g., order numbers, subscription status) and do not have access to sensitive payment information such as your bank card numbers.
• Subscription Verification (Premium): To verify premium subscription status, the App may send limited billing data (such as your Google Play purchase token, package name, and product ID) to our verification service hosted on AWS. This data is used only for entitlement verification and is not used for advertising.

3. GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation) Notice

For users in the European Economic Area (EEA) and UK:

• Legal Basis: We process your personal data based on your consent (for analytics/crash reporting) and for the performance of a contract (providing the file sharing service).
• Your Rights: You have the right to access, correct, delete, or restrict processing of your personal data. You may withdraw your consent for analytics at any time in the app settings.
• Data Retention: Analytics data is retained for 14 months. Local connection logs are temporary and cleared when the server stops or after a short period (e.g., 5 minutes).
• International Transfers: Firebase services may process data in the United States under standard contractual clauses or other lawful mechanisms.

4. CCPA/CPRA (California Privacy Rights) Notice

For California residents:

• We Do Not Sell Your Personal Information. We do not sell your personal information to third parties.
• We Do Not Share Your Personal Information for cross-context behavioral advertising.
• Your Rights: You have the right to request access to and deletion of your personal information, and the right to non-discrimination for exercising these rights.

5. Permissions Usage

The App requests permissions (Camera, Storage, Notifications, Location/Nearby Devices) only when necessary for core functionality. Location permission is solely used for local hotspot/Wi-Fi management and not for tracking your geographical location.

6. Third-Party Services

• Google Firebase: Used for crash analysis and data statistics (only with consent). View Privacy Policy

• AWS (Subscription Verification): Used to verify subscription status when you use premium billing features.
